Hello All, With regard to the President’s Report in Stay Tuned Sept/Oct 2001. I would like some clarification of Quote “If the vehicle was involved in an accident, and the trip has not been logged with the Permits Officer, then the vehicle would be in effect unregistered and uninsured for CTP.” My questions involve short trips for refueling, service and testing. Firstly are we required to register with the permits officer every time I travel on public roads? Secondly, if this is the case is there a simpler way to register? If we are required to register every journey I suggest that the registration process could be carried out on the PMEA website rather than contacting the Permits Officer personally, which on some occasions could prove difficult. We could even use the “Comments” area of the website. For example: 11th September 2011. Car 1951 MG #42701H will be travelling to Macquarie Towns Show Day, Macquarie Park Windsor, travelling via Dural and Wisemans Ferry. Driver. Raymond
