SUMMARY:French & German Vehicles Run & BYO Picnic at Roseville Park
DESCRIPTION:Following last years inaugural and very popular PMEA BYO picnic featuring Mini's and MG cars in Roseville Park\, we are doing it again! \nThis time we'll be focusing on French and German branded manufacturers. We have an abundance of these vehicles within PMEA\, so whether you drive a Citroen 2CV\, Porsche 911 or Trabbie\, please dust it down and bring it along to this fun day. \nIn the last quarter of the 19th century\, Richard Archbold Jnr built a two-roomed wooden cottage that became known as “The Firs”\, appropriately named after the large number of fir trees planted around the house.  \nSurrounding the historic 'The Firs" cottage\, there is plenty of room to park and spread out. \nHopefully the sun will be shining. In the event of rain\, it will be postponed. \nOf course as always\, every other brand is welcome too\, just don't get in the way of our Euro contingent parade on the drive there!! \nBYO picnic supplies and chairs\, some tables are available too.  \nRoseville Park has plenty of free parking for our classic vehicles and there are plenty of trees to provide shade. The grounds are very extensive\, so plenty of space to spread out if required. \nToilet facilities within the grounds.  \nBring those PMEA windscreen banners and flags! \nMeet /Start: Meet 7.45am Mona Vale Library carpark. Depart 8.00am sharp.  \n *Wakehurst Parkway: additional pick up point for those on the lower beaches\, Dreadnought Rd Oxford Falls (western side of Wakehurst Parkway). We will watch for the cars to go past and then catch up. Departure time 8.20am from this location. \nWe travel via Wakehurst Parkway and Roseville Bridge to destination. \nDeparture: At your leisure \nCost: FREE !! \nNote: Plenty of parking\, but caution with sharing parking with tennis court players. Parking in street available also.   \nBooking: RSVP preferred but also just turn up if you wish. \n
