SUMMARY:General Meeting & Regalia- with Special Interview\, PMEA Member Barry Ahearn
DESCRIPTION:Come along tonight with your wives or partners\, where we will learn of an interesting life of one of PMEA members\, Vice President Barry Ahearn. \nBarry Ahearn\, a distinguished club office Bearer with a notable\, but somewhat suspect path\, particularly relating to his association with three other colourful\, yet equally shady PMEA club members\, whose names are deleted to protect the innocent. \nYou will be taken into the backstreets and alleys of Mossman during the 1970s\, visiting and revealing some of Sydney Harbour’s dark secrets. You will learn of the location near South Creek Road of a den of iniquity where mini minors spring from the grave\, to be refurbished into their former glory of police pursuit cars . \nThe circumstances of bold Barry’s last four motor vehicles of many varieties\, plus his restoration skills that made him a sought after builder of heritage homes\, and Solomon Island Bure’s. How Barry became a Michelin chef will be particularly interesting to our female audience\, so bring the ladies along for a fun night . \nThis meeting will also feature PMEA club regalia\, with your chance to purchase on the night. \nPolo shirts\, T-shirts\, fleecy tops and zip up jackets\, sleeveless soft-shell vests and caps will be available to order on the night. \nGeneral Meetings are held every two weeks and run for approximately 1 hour. \nNew members and visitors welcome. Free parking is available in the general car park. \nJoin us for a drink and finger food in the downstairs bar after the meeting. \n
