DESCRIPTION:Tonight's General Meeting will feature our special Guest Speaker Peter Watson from Men's Kitchen Association Forestville. \nPeter is the President of the Men’s Kitchen Association which is a role he took on after retiring from more than 50 years in the IT industry.  Peter decided to support his wife in the kitchen in 2012 and has been developing his cooking skills ever since. You might say he’s a slow learner! \nPlease come along to listen\, learn and ask questions about this very important support service for older men to learn and improve on their cooking skills in the kitchen. \nPeter will chat to our members and take questions afterwards from the floor. \nMen's Kitchen Website Link \nBy developing kitchen skills (New Tricks) older men (Old Dogs) are better able to support themselves and their family. Members also learn important food safety lessons\, so the quality of food you prepare will be safe to eat\, nutritious and delicious. \nIf you are an older man and are looking to increase your confidence in the kitchen or have had to take over the role of preparing meals\, and most importantly\, would like to join a group of men who enjoy each other's company while preparing a meal\, the Men's Kitchen is for you. \nNew members and visitors welcome. Free parking is available in the general car park. \nJoin us for a drink and finger food in the downstairs bar after the meeting. \n
