DESCRIPTION:Leisurely drive via the 'Old Pac' scenic route to the Central Coast. \nThis is our 3rd PMEA 'Convertibles Day Out'\, if you have a convertible please bring it along for some great motoring and scenery. \nOf course\, if you have any other type of vehicle\, you are still welcome to join us. Please 'RSVP' to ensure your place ASAP! \nWaterfall Cafe is nestled over the cascading ponds of the Mount Penang Parklands\, the gateway to the Central Coast. Set against the walkway entrance to the gardens themselves\, it is a beautiful place to eat or enjoy a coffee with friends. Easy to get to/from as well. \nThere is plenty of free close by parking and there are NO hills. \nClick Here for Waterfall Cafe Overview & Video \nMount Penang Gardens covers 8 hectares and is home to 1000 native plants\, with meandering pathways past themed gardens\, sculptures and magnificent water features. \nThe walking is quite easy and the few stairs can be avoided by following 'no stairs pathway'. \nMeet /Start: Meet 7.30am Mona Vale Library carpark. Depart 7.45am sharp!!. We travel via Mona Vale Rd through St Ives\, Telegraph Rd Pymble through to Pacific Hwy\, then M1 to Mount White turn off\, then Old Pacific Highway to Calga and over Mooney Mooney Creek and follow Old Pacific Highway to Somersby/Kariong and then it's only a short distance to destination. \nGoogle drive times: Approximately 1 hr 5min to 1hr 25mins drive. Distance is approximately 80km.  \n*Additional pick up: outside Bunnings Belrose on Mona Vale Rd\, before slip road to Narabang Way. Depart 8.00 am sharp!! \nRoute via  M1 Motorway to Mount White exit\, then as above. There is no detour this time via Cowan.  Return via M1 Motorway\, OR take the scenic way 'Old Pac' home again.  \nCafe Booking Time:  0930 a.m. for 40 persons. \nCost:  $5 per person. Please note: If you have not paid and signed on\, you will be ineligible for the raffle prize draw and MAT award points. \nPMEA Members and their invited guests ONLY.  \nIndividual payment at cafe for own consumption of food and beverages. \nBooking: Please RSVP as soon as possible! \nDeparture: At your leisure
