SUMMARY:TRIPLE MMM Run - (MG's/Mustangs/Mini's) & BYO Picnic\, Roseville Park
DESCRIPTION:PMEA BYO picnic featuring MG’s\, Mustangs  & Mini’s in Roseville Park\, we are doing it again!  \nIn the last quarter of the 19th century\, Richard Archbold Jnr built a two-roomed wooden cottage that became known as “The Firs”\, appropriately named after the large number of fir trees planted around the house. Surrounding the historic ‘The Firs” cottage\, there is plenty of room to park and spread out. \nPMEA have heaps of “M’s”\, if you drive a MG\, Mini\, Mustang or even anything else starting with  M\, then  get your driving gloves out\, hat on \, roof up or down and enjoy the drive with your fellow MMM’ers!! \nHopefully the sun will be shining. In the event of rain\, it will be postponed. \nOf course as always\, every other brand is welcome too\, just don’t get in the way of the MGB parade on the way!! \nBYO picnic supplies. Roseville Park has plenty of free parking for our classic vehicles and there are plenty of trees to provide shade. The grounds are very extensive\, so plenty of space to spread out if required. \nToilet facilities within the grounds.  \nBring those PMEA windscreen banners and flags! \nMeet /Start: Meet 7.45am Mona Vale Library carpark. Depart 8.00am sharp.  \n *Wakehurst Parkway: additional pick up point for those on the lower beaches\, Dreadnought Rd Oxford Falls (western side of Wakehurst Parkway). We will watch for the cars to go past and then catch up. Departure time 8.20am from this location. \nWe travel via Wakehurst Parkway and Roseville Bridge to destination. \nDeparture: At your leisure \nCost: $5.00 donation for raffle tickets and prizes. \nNote: Plenty of parking\, but caution with sharing parking with tennis court players. DESCRIPTION:Set on 28 acres of sprawling bushland in the heart of Mount White\, Saddles is a Gourmet Eatery and Bakehouse\, just an hour north of Sydney. \nTheir philosophy celebrates all that is Australiana-the wild yet beautiful landscape\, the magical flora and fauna that surrounds the homestead and dam\, and the unique wildlife sanctuary that calls Saddles home. \nWe are visiting the newly built\, rustic charm barn onsite cafe\, NOT the restaurant. There are plenty of outdoor tables and chairs in the vicinity of the barn and dam. Please note this is not undercover. \nMeet /Start: Meet from 7.30am Mona Vale Library carpark\, depart 8.00 am sharp!!. \nAdditional pick up: outside Bunnings Belrose on Mona Vale Rd\, before slip road to Narabang Way. Depart once Mona Vale group arrives (approximately 8.15 am). \nWe then travel via Mona Vale Rd through St Ives\, Telegraph Rd Pymble and the Pacific Hwy to Wahroonga\, then M1 freeway to Berowra exit and through to the Cowan truck rest stop area\, where we will then regroup.  \nDepart Cowan on Old Pacific Highway back onto M1 and turn off at the Mount White exit. It’s then only a short distance to destination. \nCost: Order and pay onsite. DESCRIPTION:Step inside the over 100 year-old Leichhardt Tramshed and see our extensive collection of vintage buses. View our World War II exhibition\, see our impressive display hall\, and experience a ride aboard a vintage double-decker bus across the ANZAC Bridge to the CBD and return. \nTicket prices are $22 adults\, $16 Concession and Seniors and includes all day entry to the museum and unlimited rides aboard the vintage bus services to and from Town Hall (Park St\, Stand H) and return. \n​Guided tours also run on select Open Days and take approximately 30-45 minutes. Tickets can be purchased on arrival at the museum. Cash and Card payments are accepted. \nThe museum opens its doors at 10am. \nPlease see click on the link below for full museum information \nSydney Bus Museum  \nNote: Due to increased protest action within the CBD on most Sundays\, vintage bus rides to the QVB are subject to alteration with little notice during this period. ​When affected by CBD road closures due to protest action\, our vintage buses operating the route 456 will be diverted to service the bus stop at 447 Kent Street (Stop ID 2000422) outside the Interpro building. \nAny change to the service offered is available immediately on the day of operation on the Museum’s Instagram and Facebook pages. \nIf you will not be joining us on the vintage bus from Town Hall to Leichardt and wish to make your own way to or from the museum\, please see below information: \nThe museum is a 5 minute walk away from the nearest public bus stop on Norton Street at the Pioneer’s Memorial Park\, which is services by a number of routes: \n\nRoute 437 bus- City QVB to Five Dock\nThe Leichhardt North Light Rail station is also a short 450 metre walk from the Museum .
