DESCRIPTION:Driven by a desire to do something to fight the cruelty of cancer and a passion for traveling this beautiful country in recycled vehicles\, in June this PMEA Member Alastair Macdonald and his wife Helen will be travelling from Sydney to Perth to take part in the 2025 Winter Perth to Darwin Shitbox Rally in their 1974 Ford Falcon XB wagon. \nAn important part of the rally is raising funds that go towards fund Cancer Research.  Over the last 14 years the Shitbox Rally has raised over $14 million for the Cancer Council and has become one of the biggest contributors to cancer research in Australia. \nPlease join us at this meeting to hear all about Alastair's preparation for this event\, along with stories and pictures from previous 'Shitbox Rallies' \n  \nGeneral Meetings are held every fortnight on Tuesday evenings\, commencing at 7.30pm and run for approximately 1 hour to 1 hour 15mins. \nNew members and visitors welcome. SUMMARY:Mid-Week Run to Club Belrose or Terrey Hills Tavern
DESCRIPTION:Driven by a desire to do something to fight the cruelty of cancer and a passion for traveling this beautiful country in recycled vehicles\, in June this PMEA Member Alastair Macdonald and his wife Helen will be travelling from Sydney to Perth to take part in the 2025 Winter Perth to Darwin Shitbox Rally in their 1974 Ford Falcon XB wagon. \nAn important part of the rally is raising funds that go towards fund Cancer Research.  Over the last 14 years the Shitbox Rally has raised over $14 million for the Cancer Council and has become one of the biggest contributors to cancer research in Australia. \nPlease join us at this meeting to hear all about Alastair's preparation for this event\, along with stories and pictures from previous 'Shitbox Rallies' \n  \nGeneral Meetings are held every fortnight on Tuesday evenings\, commencing at 7.30pm and run for approximately 1 hour to 1 hour 15mins. \nNew members and visitors welcome. Free parking is available in the general car park. \nJoin us for social drinks in the funky 'Bocado' bar area after the meeting.  \nMembers may purchase beverages at the main bar at very reasonable club prices.
