DESCRIPTION:Come along to this meeting and enjoy a specially filmed interview with early PMEA club member Brian Leary (member 278). \nAt the last meeting\, we enjoyed hearing about Brian’s early history working for Qantas and meeting royalty and stars all over the world. This meeting\, we will hear more about his love of cars and bikes and his special Studebaker in part two. \n\nBrian is well-known for his 1928 red Ford model A firetruck called Henry’s special. This unique vehicle is often seen on the roads between Mona Vale and Bayview\, exciting all ages as its  fire bells echo across Pittwater\, driven by a man in full  historic Fireman‘s regalia. Brian is the most interesting PMEA member that David Rundle says he has ever interviewed and he recommends you bring your partners as his life story is nothing less than epic.\nInterview conducted by David Rundle. Filmed by PMEA member Ray Henman.\n\nDue to meeting time restraints\, the film will be shown in two parts\, consisting of 15 minutes each\, over two subsequent meetings.  \nGeneral Meetings are held every fortnight on Tuesday evenings\, commencing at 7.30pm and run for approximately 1 hour to 1 hour 15mins. \nNew members and visitors welcome. DESCRIPTION:AutoBrunch St Ives is a monthly coming together of enthusiasts with a myriad of eclectic vehicles. These range from exotic supercars through to veteran/vintage cars and British\, American and European classics. \nFrom 1920’s to present day\, there is always something different to feast your eyes on. This is the largest ‘Cars and Coffee’ type event in the Sydney area. \nPMEA Club members are invited to display their vehicles. The event is organised by the North Shore Sporting Car Club.  \nUsually 200+ vehicles on show from veteran to modern. It’s a nice location with lots of space\, shade and toilets. DESCRIPTION:Located within a 30-hectare site on the North Head of Manly you will find a unique destination\, that is Q Station. An enduring part of Sydney’s history\, that once served as the Quarantine Station for migrants arriving in Australia. \nLocated in the Sydney Harbour National Park\, The Wharf Cafe at Q-Station is located in part of the old buildings right on the harbour front.  \nWith wonderful district views towards Manly\, there are both outdoor and indoor tables. The cafe menu can be found by clicking on the link below: \nWharf Cafe Menu \nOnce you have arrived\, please select a table and order inside. There is no table service. \nMeet /Start: Meet from 7.30 am Mona Vale Library carpark. Depart 8.00am sharp. Driving route discussed prior to the destination. \nOne you reach the roundabout half way along Scenic Drive at North Head\, deviate right and follow the carpark signs. \nAlternatively\, you can make your own way there and meet in the Q-Station carpark at 8.30am.  \nDeparture: At your leisure \nCost: Individual payment at venue \nParking: Plenty of free parking in the carpark outside the reception office.   \nNote:  The cafe is about 10-15 minutes walk from the carpark. Alternatively\, you can get a free shuttle bus from the reception area. The cafe shuttle operates on a constant loop basis on Sundays. You also get a chance to drive around the circuit as a group. This is a highlight on most club’s calendars every year. \nLots of stall holders with motoring books\, brick-a-brac available to purchase. An event not to be missed. \nMeet /Start: Meet Mona Vale Library carpark. Depart 7.15am sharp. \nAdditional pick up: outside Bunnings Belrose on Mona Vale Rd\, before slip road to Narabang Way. DESCRIPTION:PMEA will again participate in the annual All British Display Day for 2024.  This event is now in its 41st year. It has now moved to a new location at Hawkesbury Showground at Clarendon. \nLargest display of classic British Marque cars in NSW.   \nThe All British Day dates back to October 1981 when the newly formed Austin Motor Vehicle Club staged a display of British Cars on the top floor of the Top Ryde Shopping Centre.  \nUp to 500 vehicles usually attend.  This is a highlight MUST DO on most British marque club’s calendars every year. \nFood and coffee for purchase on grounds\, however with large queues\, it is advisable to bring your own picnic lunch.  \nAn event not to be missed. \nMeet /Start: Entrants- We depart 7.30am sharp outside Bunnings Belrose on Mona Vale Rd\, before slip road to Narabang Way. Travel time 50 mins-1hr 10mins via A3\, M2\, A2. \nAlternatively\, make your own way directly to the event in your own time. \nDeparture: NOT before 2.30pm \nPre-Booking and Payments: Definitely!!  \nPre-sale tickets $10 in advance-PMEA Members Only.
