These range from exotic supercars through to veteran/vintage cars and British\, American and European classics. \nFrom 1920’s to present day\, there is always something different to feast your eyes on. This is the largest ‘Cars and Coffee’ type event in the Sydney area. \nPMEA Club members are invited to display their vehicles. DESCRIPTION:Following our previous and popular PMEA BYO picnics in Roseville Park\, we are doing it again\, this time featuring featuring European & American vehicles and bikes. \nWe have an abundance of these vehicles within PMEA\, so whether you drive a Porsche\, Fiat\, Citroen\, Buick\, Dodge…whatever you have\, bring it along!. \nHopefully the sun will be shining. In the event of rain\, it will be postponed. \nOf course as always\, every other brand is welcome too\, just don’t get in the way of our Euro & USA contingent parade on the drive there!! Please participate in the club drive \, rather than go direct\, as this is what being in the club with your classic is all about. \nBYO picnic supplies and chairs\, some tables are available too.  \nRoseville Park has plenty of free parking for our classic vehicles and there are plenty of trees to provide shade. The grounds are very extensive\, so plenty of space to spread out if required. \nToilet facilities within the grounds.  \nBring those PMEA windscreen banners and flags! \nMeet /Start: Meet 7.45am Mona Vale Library carpark. Depart 8.00am sharp.  \n *Wakehurst Parkway: additional pick up point for those on the lower beaches\, Dreadnought Rd Oxford Falls (eastern side of Wakehurst Parkway outside Oxford Falls Peace Park). Arrive from 9.45 a.m. \nWe then depart 10.00 a.m via Mona Vale Rd to our additional meeting point\, outside Bunnings Belrose on Mona Vale Rd (before slip road to Narabang Way)\, where we then depart at 10.30 a.m. \nWe’ll regroup at the Cowan truck rest stop\, then continue another 23km to Mount White along the Old Pacific Highway. Driving time from here to cafe is 25 mins. DESCRIPTION:This month we make our first visit to this trendy new Artisanal Bakery/Cafe at Frenchs Forest.  \nEasy access\, Frenchs Fair is tucked away just off  Wakehurst Parkway\, situated under the new ‘Jardin’ apartment complex\, corner of Frenchs Forest Rd (East) and Skyline Place. \nPastries and sourdough baked daily! \nThe manager has set aside tables for PMEA outside (under shelter)\, so we can keep an eye on our classic vehicles.  Parking is available directly opposite and also inside the industrial complex of #1 Skyline Place (plenty of spaces on a Sunday). Additional visitor parking underneath the cafe. \nLimited seating is also available inside the cafe. We travel via Wakehurst Parkway to destination. \nCost: Individual payment at venue. \nDeparture: At your leisure \nBooking: Essential as limited space is available. Make sure you RSVP and if you can’t attend\, please let the organiser know by using the ‘can’t go’ button. Should you just ‘turn up’\, you may not be guaranteed a seat. SUMMARY:General Meeting and Member Presentation-PMEA Member Alastair Macdonald-Shitbox Rally
DESCRIPTION:Driven by a desire to do something to fight the cruelty of cancer and a passion for traveling this beautiful country in recycled vehicles\, PMEA Member Alastair Macdonald will walk us through a presentation about his adventures travelling on the 2025 Winter Perth to Darwin Shitbox Rally in a 1974 Ford Falcon XB wagon. \nAn important part of the rally is raising funds that go towards fund Cancer Research.  Over the last 14 years the Shitbox Rally has raised over $14 million for the Cancer Council and has become one of the biggest contributors to cancer research in Australia. \nPlease join us at this meeting to hear all about Alastair’s preparation for this event\, along with stories and pictures from previous ‘Shitbox Rallies’ \nGeneral Meetings are held every fortnight on Tuesday evenings\, commencing at 7.30pm and run for approximately 1 hour to 1 hour 15mins. \nNew members and visitors welcome. Free parking is available in the general car park. \nJoin us for social drinks in the funky ‘Bocado’ bar area after the meeting.  \nMembers may purchase beverages at the main bar at very reasonable club prices.
