SUMMARY:Northern Beaches 2026 Car & Bike Show
DESCRIPTION:In conjunction with PMEA\, Northern Beaches Hot Rods will showcase another car and bike show in 2026. Up to 150 vehicles and bikes will be on display. \nClub volunteers will collect ‘gold coin’ donations from the public at two different entry gates\, with all funds raised (after costs) to be distributed to local charities. \nTrophies will be awarded via ‘People’s Choice’ voting system: \n\n1st\, 2nd and 3rd place for Best Classic car\n1st\, 2nd and 3rd place for Best Hot Rod\n1st place for Best Bike\n\nAssigned club volunteers at the entry point gates will handing be out people’s choice voting slips to the public upon entry. \nPresentation awards will commence at 1.00pm.  \nEntrants:  \nAll show cars to enter starting at 8.00am\, no entry after 8.55am. Parking arrangement first in first served.  Enter via Foley St only. \nNO entry permitted for vehicles NOT pre-booked and paid. Vehicles must be in their designated parking bay by 8.55am. \nPlease park in your allocated parking bay.  Marshalls will direct you to your allocated parking space . \nTrailered cars to unload from 7.30am\, all trailers removed by 8.00am. \nEntry fee: $15.00 per vehicle. DESCRIPTION:Leisurely drive via the ‘Old Pac’ scenic route to the Central Coast. \n‘Convertibles Day Out’\, if you have a convertible please bring it along for some great motoring and scenery. \nOf course\, if you have any other type of vehicle\, you are still welcome to join us. Please ‘RSVP’ to ensure your place ASAP! \nWaterfall Cafe is nestled over the cascading ponds of the Mount Penang Parklands\, the gateway to the Central Coast. Set against the walkway entrance to the gardens themselves\, it is a beautiful place to eat or enjoy a coffee with friends. Easy to get to/from as well. \nThere is plenty of free close by parking and there are NO hills. \nClick Here for Waterfall Cafe Overview & Video \nMount Penang Gardens covers 8 hectares and is home to 1000 native plants\, with meandering pathways past themed gardens\, sculptures and magnificent water features. \nThe walking is quite easy and the few stairs can be avoided by following ‘no stairs pathway’. \nMeet /Start: Meet 7.30am Mona Vale Library carpark. Depart 7.45am sharp!!. \nAdditional pick up: outside Bunnings Belrose on Mona Vale Rd\, before slip road to Narabang Way. Depart 8.00 am sharp!! \nWe travel via Mona Vale Rd through St Ives\, Telegraph Rd Pymble through to Pacific Hwy\, then M1 to Berowra turn off and to Cowan truck rest stop area\, where we will then regroup. Depart Cowan on Old Pacific Highway\, over Hawkesbury river to Calga\, then follow Old Pacific Highway to Somersby/Kariong and then it’s only a short distance to destination. \nReturn via M1 Motorway\, OR take the scenic way ‘Old Pac’ home again.  \nGoogle drive times: Approximately 1 hr 15min to 1hr 30mins drive. DESCRIPTION:PMEA will again participate in the annual Shannon’s Display Day. \nLargest display of classic cars in NSW. Up to 2\,000 vehicles attend. You also get a chance to drive around the circuit as a group. This is a highlight on most club’s calendars every year. \nLots of stall holders with motoring books\, brick-a-brac available to purchase. An event not to be missed. \nMeet /Start: Meet Mona Vale Library carpark. Depart 7.15am sharp. \nAdditional pick up: outside Bunnings Belrose on Mona Vale Rd\, before slip road to Narabang Way. SUMMARY:TRIPLE MMM Run - (MG's/Mustangs/Mini's) & BYO Picnic\, Roseville Park
DESCRIPTION:PMEA BYO picnic featuring MG’s\, Mustangs  & Mini’s in Roseville Park\, we are doing it again!  \nIn the last quarter of the 19th century\, Richard Archbold Jnr built a two-roomed wooden cottage that became known as “The Firs”\, appropriately named after the large number of fir trees planted around the house. Surrounding the historic ‘The Firs” cottage\, there is plenty of room to park and spread out. \nPMEA have heaps of “M’s”\, if you drive a MG\, Mini\, Mustang or even anything else starting with  M\, then  get your driving gloves out\, hat on \, roof up or down and enjoy the drive with your fellow MMM’ers!! \nHopefully the sun will be shining. In the event of rain\, it will be postponed. \nOf course as always\, every other brand is welcome too\, just don’t get in the way of the MGB parade on the way!! \nBYO picnic supplies. Roseville Park has plenty of free parking for our classic vehicles and there are plenty of trees to provide shade. The grounds are very extensive\, so plenty of space to spread out if required. \nToilet facilities within the grounds.  \nBring those PMEA windscreen banners and flags! \nMeet /Start: Meet 7.45am Mona Vale Library carpark. Depart 8.00am sharp.  \n *Wakehurst Parkway: additional pick up point for those on the lower beaches\, Dreadnought Rd Oxford Falls (western side of Wakehurst Parkway). We will watch for the cars to go past and then catch up. Departure time 8.20am from this location. \nWe travel via Wakehurst Parkway and Roseville Bridge to destination. \nDeparture: At your leisure \nCost: $5.00 donation for raffle tickets and prizes. \nNote: Plenty of parking\, but caution with sharing parking with tennis court players. Driving time from here to cafe is 25 mins. DESCRIPTION:Step inside the over 100 year-old Leichhardt Tramshed and see our extensive collection of vintage buses. View our World War II exhibition\, see our impressive display hall\, and experience a ride aboard a vintage double-decker bus across the ANZAC Bridge to the CBD and return. \nTicket prices are $22 adults\, $16 Concession and Seniors and includes all day entry to the museum and unlimited rides aboard the vintage bus services to and from Town Hall (Park St\, Stand H) and return. \n​Guided tours also run on select Open Days and take approximately 30-45 minutes. Tickets can be purchased on arrival at the museum. Cash and Card payments are accepted. \nThe museum opens its doors at 10am. \nPlease see click on the link below for full museum information \nSydney Bus Museum  \nNote: Due to increased protest action within the CBD on most Sundays\, vintage bus rides to the QVB are subject to alteration with little notice during this period. ​When affected by CBD road closures due to protest action\, our vintage buses operating the route 456 will be diverted to service the bus stop at 447 Kent Street (Stop ID 2000422) outside the Interpro building. \nAny change to the service offered is available immediately on the day of operation on the Museum’s Instagram and Facebook pages. \nIf you will not be joining us on the vintage bus from Town Hall to Leichardt and wish to make your own way to or from the museum\, please see below information: \nThe museum is a 5 minute walk away from the nearest public bus stop on Norton Street at the Pioneer’s Memorial Park\, which is services by a number of routes: \n\nRoute 437 bus- City QVB to Five Dock\nThe Leichhardt North Light Rail station is also a short 450 metre walk from the Museum . This stop is serviced by the L1 line which operates from Central to Dulwich Hill via the Inner West.\n\nMeet /Start: Meet 9.30 am Town Hall\, Park St\,  Stand H.  The first bus departs 9.55am and then every half hour. DESCRIPTION:PMEA will again participate in the annual All British Display Day for 2026.  This event is now in its 43rd year and held at the Hawkesbury Showground at Clarendon. \nLargest display of classic British Marque cars in NSW.   \nThe All British Day dates back to October 1981 when the newly formed Austin Motor Vehicle Club staged a display of British Cars on the top floor of the Top Ryde Shopping Centre.  \nUp to 500 vehicles usually attend.  This is a highlight MUST DO on most British marque club’s calendars every year. \nFood and coffee for purchase on grounds\, however with large queues\, it is advisable to bring your own picnic lunch.  \nAn event not to be missed. \nMeet /Start: Entrants- We depart 7.30am sharp outside Bunnings Belrose on Mona Vale Rd\, before slip road to Narabang Way. Route discussion at that time. \nAlternatively\, make your own way directly to the event in your own time. \nDeparture: NOT before 2.30pm \nPre-Booking and Payments: Definitely!! PMEA Members Only.  Tickets $10 in advance-PMEA Members Only. NO ENTRY on the day without pre-paid ticket. \nPayments:  After you have RSVP’d your attendance\, please then make immediate payment to PMEA.
