SUMMARY:Blacktown Drive-In Movie And Dinner
DESCRIPTION:It’s the 40th Anniversary of the movie “Grease”\, so there is no better time to relive those glory Drive-In days and come along to this event in your retro wheels!  Dine at on-site retro cafe/restaurant beforehand. \nThere  is a large variety of hot foods options at The Diner – burgers\, hot chips\, onion rings etc.  \nMovie is approximately 2 hours and commences at 6pm.  \nMeet /Start: 3.30 pm outside Bunnings Belrose\, Mona Vale Rd. Depart 3.45 pm sharp. Route via Mona Vale Rd (A3) through Top Ryde towards Sydney Olympic Park and turn onto M4 Motorway. Follow Motorway\, take Reserve Rd Blacktown exit and then to destination. Approximately 1 hr 15mins drive.  \nDeparture: At your leisure. \nCost: $35.00 per car\, 1-6 persons per car. A booking fee of $1.50 per car also applies. You can also use your NSW Dine and Discover Voucher if you have one.  \nBooking: ESSENTIAL \nEarly booking advised\, as once the movie is promoted\, it will sell out very quickly. \nSTEP 1: Please indicate your interest by using the BOOK button. Then book the number of people attending in your party. The organiser will be advised of your attendance. Please then add your booking to your phone with the PMEA website link to either your Google or Iphone Calendar.  \nSTEP 2: A movie booking must then be done via the Skyline Drive-In theatre website https://www.eventcinemas.com.au/Orders/Tickets#token=e3255fdaea7843472bc1f82f401d675c \nWhen booking\, if you have a NSW Discover voucher\, you may redeem this via the booking process.  \nOnce your booking is complete\, go into your phone calendar\, click on the event under 8th May\, you will then be able to see a hyperlink in red\, if you click this\, your ticket with QR CODE will then show\, and you can add to your Apple Wallet or Android equivalent. If you cannot do this\, you will need to print your email confirmation\, showing the QR CODE\, and show this at the entry gate. Please contact David Cawthorn if you have any questions on the above ticketing process. \n  \nNote: We will assemble on arrival and enter together\, Skyline Drive-In will close off a designated area for us to all park together with marked cones. You will need a working FM RADIO in your vehicle for the sound (no old school speaker stands anymore). Be sure to have your saved QR code entry ticket ready at the entry gate.

DESCRIPTION:PMEA will celebrate National Motoring Heritage Day by holding a free light BBQ for members who showcase their vehicles. Display will be at the carpark\, Cnr Middle Head Rd & Best Ave Mosman (Georges Heights-near Frenchy’s Café). \nAlso at the Berry Showground\, the largest Display in NSW. Shoalhaven Historic Vehicle Club will host. The theme will be “Aussie Assembled Vehicles”\, although everyone and all owners of Vintage\, Historic and Classic vehicles of all years and marques and special interest are invited to attend. \nThere are other locations across NSW also. \nMeet /Start: Meet 7.45am Mona Vale Library carpark. Depart 8.00am sharp. SUMMARY:Unique Vehicle Charity Display Day\, Royal Motor Yacht Club Newport
DESCRIPTION:PMEA will again participate in this yearly unique charity fundraising display day at the Royal Motor Yacht Club Newport.  \nDonations go to Marine Rescue Church Point and Cottage Point\, and Bear Cottage in equal shares. \nDisplay your PMEA car or bike and display with pride\, while helping a great cause. There will be three PMEA Official Judges appraising the vehicles on display. \nPresentation awards commence at 2pm. This is our major fundraiser of the year\, so whether you are participating\, or just coming to enjoy viewing the cars and bikes\, please do support your club and donate to a good cause. Club volunteers will be mingling in the crowd collection donations throughout the day. \nMeet /Start: Gates open from 7.00am for vehicles pre-booked. NO entry permitted for vehicles NOT pre-booked. Vehicles must be in place by 9.00am. Please park in numbered bay allocated to you at the entry gate. PMEA marshall will direct you to your allocated parking space in the lower carpark. Public viewing from 10.00am. \nDeparture: NOT before 3pm. Vehicles are not permitted to leave early due to safety requirements. \nCost: Entry fee $10.00. Entries are now closed. \nNote: Public parking is available at Newport Surf Club\, Newport school and in nearby streets. Please park legally as council rangers and police will be monitoring the area. \nTwo club courtesy buses will be available to collect spectators from the remote car parks on demand. Picturesque park side and waterfront surroundings. \nSecure classic car parking only has been arranged surrounding the restaurant in the dock area\, at the rear of the complex. Access via driveway at side of main building. The boom gate will be ‘up’ upon entry.  \nUnfortunately NO modern vehicles are being permitted to park on the waterfront. There is a nearby Council carpark with paid parking\, or surrounding streets with a short walk. \nMeet /Start : Meet Mona Vale Library carpark. Depart 8.00am sharp. We travel via Wakehurst Parkway\, Warringah Rd\, Roseville Bridge\, Pacific Hwy\, Centennial Ave. through Lane Cove West and over Gladesville Bridge to destination. \n*Wakehurst Parkway: additional pick up point for those on the lower beaches\, Dreadnought Rd Oxford Falls (outside Oxford Falls Peace Park-the older Xmas party place).
