DESCRIPTION:AutoBrunch St Ives is a monthly coming together of enthusiasts with a myriad of eclectic vehicles. These range from exotic supercars through to veteran/vintage cars and British\, American and European classics. \nFrom 1920’s to present day\, there is always something different to feast your eyes on. This is a large monthly event\, free of charge to enter and display. \nPMEA Club members are invited to display their vehicles. The event is organised by the North Shore Sporting Car Club.  \nUsually 200+ vehicles on show from veteran to modern. It’s a nice location with lots of space\, shade and toilets. You will need to get in early if you want a good spot to park and display. \nThe Lions Club offers egg and bacon rolls and selling soft drinks to raise funds. DESCRIPTION:Tonight we will have a slightly extended meeting as we are having a special discussion on Electric Vehicles. \nPMEA Member Bob Muir has extensive knowledge of electric vehicles and will be discussing in conjunction with David Rundle. \nAll members are invited to join in the discussion afterwards and there will be a Q & A session too. \nThis meeting will also feature presentation of new PMEA club regalia. \nPolo shirts\, T-shirts\, fleecy tops and zip up jackets\, sleeveless softshell vests and caps will be available to order on the night. \nGeneral Meetings are held every two weeks and run for approximately 1 hour. \nNew members and visitors welcome. DESCRIPTION:Tonight’s General Meeting will feature our special Guest Speaker Peter Watson from Men’s Kitchen Association Forestville. \nPeter is the President of the Men’s Kitchen Association which is a role he took on after retiring from more than 50 years in the IT industry.  Peter decided to support his wife in the kitchen in 2012 and has been developing his cooking skills ever since. You might say he’s a slow learner! \nPlease come along to listen\, learn and ask questions about this very important support service for older men to learn and improve on their cooking skills in the kitchen. \nPeter will chat to our members and take questions afterwards from the floor. \nMen’s Kitchen Website Link \nBy developing kitchen skills (New Tricks) older men (Old Dogs) are better able to support themselves and their family. SUMMARY:MG & BMC Minis Run & BYO Picnic\, Sous Le Soleil at Roseville Park
DESCRIPTION:Following last years inaugural and very popular PMEA BYO picnic featuring MG cars in Roseville Park\, we are doing it again! This time to include Mini’s!! \nSurrounding the historic ‘The Firs” cottage\, there is plenty of room to park and spread out. \nPMEA have heaps of Mini’s and MGB’s\, and of course MGA’s\, Sprites and others\, so get your driving gloves out\, hat on \, roof down and enjoy the drive with your fellow MG’ers!! \nHopefully the sun will be shining. In the event of rain\, it will be postponed. \nOf course as always\, every other brand is welcome too\, just don’t get in the way of the MGB parade on the way!! \nIn the last quarter of the 19th century\, Richard Archbold Jnr built a two-roomed wooden cottage that became known as “The Firs”\, appropriately named after the large number of fir trees planted around the house. Today it is home of a very popular French Restaurant\, “Sous Le Soleil”.  \n‘The Kiosk’ at the side of this restaurant serves takeaway coffee and meals during the mornings. So BYO picnic supplies\, if you don’t want to bring your own coffee\, you can purchase at the kiosk. \nRoseville Park has plenty of free parking for our classic vehicles and there are plenty of trees to provide shade. The grounds are very extensive\, so plenty of space to spread out if required. \nToilet facilities within the grounds.  \nBring those PMEA windscreen banners and flags! \nMeet /Start: Meet 7.45am Mona Vale Library carpark. Depart 8.00am sharp.  \n *Wakehurst Parkway: additional pick up point for those on the lower beaches\, Dreadnought Rd Oxford Falls (western side of Wakehurst Parkway). We will watch for the cars to go past and then catch up. Departure time 8.20am from this location. \nWe travel via Wakehurst Parkway and Roseville Bridge to destination. \nDeparture: At your leisure \nCost: FREE !! \nNote: Plenty of parking\, but caution with sharing parking with tennis court players. Parking in street available also.   \nBooking: RSVP preferred but also just turn up if you wish. \n
