DESCRIPTION:AutoBrunch St Ives is a monthly coming together of enthusiasts with a myriad of eclectic vehicles. These range from exotic supercars through to veteran/vintage cars and British\, American and European classics. \nFrom 1920’s to present day\, there is always something different to feast your eyes on. This is the largest ‘Cars and Coffee’ type event in the Sydney area. \nPMEA Club members are invited to display their vehicles. The event is organised by the North Shore Sporting Car Club.  \nUsually 200+ vehicles on show from veteran to modern. It’s a nice location with lots of space\, shade and toilets. You will need to get in early if you want a good spot to park and display. \nOnsite cafe selling limited food and drinks. \nMeet /Start: Go direct to location. \nDeparture: At your leisure \nCost: Entry fee $5.00  \nNote: Held on the 1st Sunday of each month\, weather permitting.  \nBooking: No need\, just turn up

DESCRIPTION:Relaxed longer drive to the village of Peats Ridge for our PMEA members wanting to get out of town and enjoy a rural drive. Motorbikes and cars\, all welcome. \n47 Oaks Cafe (formerly Corrugated Cafe) is a popular destination for car clubs and has plenty of tables both inside and outside. Car parking is plentiful and there is also an Ampol service station in the village if you need to top up with fuel. \nOnce off the M1\, Peats Ridge Rd has little traffic. Return journey can be via Calga and the Old Pacific Highway if you prefer a different route home. \nClick Here for Driving Route Map and further location photos \nMeet /Start: Apex Park car park Mona Vale Beach\, off Darley St East. Arrive from 9.45 a.m.  \nWe then depart 10.00 a.m via Mona Vale Rd to our additional meeting point\, outside Bunnings Belrose on Mona Vale Rd (before slip road to Narabang Way)\, where we then depart at 10.30 a.m. \nWe travel via Mona Vale Rd through St Ives\, Telegraph Rd Pymble through to Pacific Hwy\, then M1 to Calga/Peats Ridge turn off\, then Peats Ridge Rd to destination.  \nDriving time approximately 1hr 15 mins from Mona Vale to Peats Ridge\, with estimated arrival 11.45 a.m. at the cafe. Distance is approximately 75km. \nCafe Booking Time:  12.00 p.m for 25 persons. \nIndividual payment at cafe for own consumption of food and beverages. \nBooking: Please RSVP as soon as possible! DESCRIPTION:Driven by a desire to do something to fight the cruelty of cancer and a passion for traveling this beautiful country in recycled vehicles\, in June this PMEA Member Alastair Macdonald and his wife Helen will be travelling from Sydney to Perth to take part in the 2025 Winter Perth to Darwin Shitbox Rally in their 1974 Ford Falcon XB wagon. \nAn important part of the rally is raising funds that go towards fund Cancer Research.  Over the last 14 years the Shitbox Rally has raised over $14 million for the Cancer Council and has become one of the biggest contributors to cancer research in Australia. \nPlease join us at this meeting to hear all about Alastair’s preparation for this event\, along with stories and pictures from previous ‘Shitbox Rallies’ \n  \nGeneral Meetings are held every fortnight on Tuesday evenings\, commencing at 7.30pm and run for approximately 1 hour to 1 hour 15mins. \nNew members and visitors welcome. DESCRIPTION:PMEA BYO picnic featuring MG cars & Mini’s in Roseville Park\, we are doing it again!  \nIn the last quarter of the 19th century\, Richard Archbold Jnr built a two-roomed wooden cottage that became known as “The Firs”\, appropriately named after the large number of fir trees planted around the house.  \nSurrounding the historic ‘The Firs” cottage\, there is plenty of room to park and spread out. \nPMEA have heaps of Mini’s and MGB’s\, and of course MGA’s\, Sprites\, Mokes and others\, so get your driving gloves out\, hat on \, roof down and enjoy the drive with your fellow MG’ers!! \nHopefully the sun will be shining. In the event of rain\, it will be postponed. \nOf course as always\, every other brand is welcome too\, just don’t get in the way of the MGB parade on the way!! \nBYO picnic supplies. Roseville Park has plenty of free parking for our classic vehicles and there are plenty of trees to provide shade. The grounds are very extensive\, so plenty of space to spread out if required. \nToilet facilities within the grounds.  \nBring those PMEA windscreen banners and flags! \nMeet /Start: Meet 7.45am Mona Vale Library carpark. Depart 8.00am sharp.  \n *Wakehurst Parkway: additional pick up point for those on the lower beaches\, Dreadnought Rd Oxford Falls (western side of Wakehurst Parkway). We will watch for the cars to go past and then catch up. Departure time 8.20am from this location. \nWe travel via Wakehurst Parkway and Roseville Bridge to destination. \nDeparture: At your leisure \nCost: $5.00 donation for raffle tickets and prizes. \nNote: Plenty of parking\, but caution with sharing parking with tennis court players. Parking in street available also.   \nBooking: RSVP preferred but also just turn up if you wish. \n

DESCRIPTION: UPDATED 26TH FEBRUARY ***There are now 3 spaces left due to late cancellations** \nPlease join us for a FUN NIGHT of  ‘TRIVIAL ENTERTAINMENT’ at the wonderful Pittwater RSL at Mona Vale.  \n**PLEASE NOTE-This is NOT  organised by the RSL\, it is organised and run as a private PMEA event and held in the Auditorium (where we have our meetings)*** \nThere will be over $1\,000 in prizes on offer for the night.  \nQuestions will be really varied and NOT  focused exclusively on MOTORING for all of those ‘worrywarts’ !! \nEntry from 6.30pm\, and starting the night at 7 p.m. sharp. The event will be held in The Auditorium\, where we hold our regular meetings. Please also note\, this is an adults only PMEA Event.  \nOutline: We will start things along with a fun music round. With other rounds\, the idea is to answer as many as you can\, not necessarily everything. \nOh\, and thank you for bringing your hats! We’ll have a “hat contest” in the middle of the evening. 1st prize of $50 each for the best male and female hat!  The judge will be obvious at the time! \nSome rounds will have a variety of table prizes available for each person for the winning table for that round.   \nEach table will be supplied with limited complimentary wine and water.  \nPlease keep each piece of paper in good condition\, as these will become paper planes at the conclusion for a major prize as indicated! Just for fun 😄 \nConclusion: Bring your inner youth for a paper plane throwing contest! This will be the major $$$ prize.  \nIt’s free to attend for PMEA members and partners\, and why wouldn’t you\, with a chance to win great prizes!!!! Don’t delay….RSVP NOW.
