Our talented Treasurer, Graeme Smith has initiated and developed, with others the new website which is now in action – pittwatermotorclub.org.au. Over 65 members enjoyed the presentation at the last meeting. Your next email will provide a link to click on to take you to the newsletter and website to browse further. Well done Graeme and thanks to Secretary Gavin for sending out emails to over 410 members.

To sign in later, your email address is the User name and your password is  your member number.

Unique Vehicle Display at RMYC on Sunday, 23rd May. We have over 37 entries so far. We expect 80 -90 entries. Please fill in an entry form (attached) and hand it to the RMYC receptionist or email to RMYC. Entries close 8May! So please get in early to make it a success.

RMYC Flood appeal –please bring non perishable food, usable clothing, linen, blankets, cutlery, crockery etc that could help people who have lost many of life’s basics. Items can be deposited in the foyer in the allocated area.

About 45 members enjoyed the post meeting drinks and chatter in the bar downstairs – very social. The committee can organise events but it is the response of the members that truly makes an event a success – well done everybody. VP David has some great events coming up for you.

Happy motoring and enjoy your club,

Kerry Benson

This Sunday

The PMEA Club Run Event (18th April) is to Café Lobby, Lilyfield.  A great spot on the Parramatta River, with views from the plenty of outdoor tables (with large umbrellas). There are some indoor tables too. Ample free parking. Optional leisurely riverfront walk afterwards to Balmain to burn off those calories!

Don’t Forget

Following our successful visit to Saddles at Mount White, I have organised a similar breakfast event to The Deckhouse at Woolwich for Sunday 30th May.  It’s a waterside café/restaurant with ceiling-high windows and fabulous harbour views from both inside and the large verandah. We’ll also be able to display our classic cars in the Woolwich Dock/Marina area. Please check the Events Calendar on our website for further details. Cost is $33 pp (pre-paid only) for an upscale breakfast.

Thanks

David Cawthorn
