Our PMEA Southern Highlands trip with 49 attendees was a huge success, despite the rain gods throwing everything at us!! Unfortunately a lot of people piked out of bringing their classic vehicles in the rain (including me), however 4 brave souls did, which were Robert Coenraads (1971 XY Falcon 500), Bill Von Drehnen (1979 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow), Colin McDonald (1992 BMW 840 coupe) and Keith Gowenlock, who trailered his little Fiat 500 down and back behind his Isuzu Mux. The only opportunity Keith had to drive it was the very last day, where he motored from Mittagong to Sutton Forest, and via the freeway! Good one Keith, you still get Michael Andrews Trophy points for that gallant effort!! Photos of the trip can be seen here.

May will be a busy club month, with two highlighted events, firstly our popular PMEA Club BBQ at McCarr’s Creek Reserve, this time for European and Japanese vehicles, and secondly the annual Unique Vehicle Display charity day at the RMYC Newport. This event combines for this year with the annual National Motoring Heritage Day. If you haven’t already entered, please do so quickly as entries close as soon as the event is filled, or the 9th May, whichever first occurs. See below website page for details.

PMEA also have now available newly designed FREE windscreen information sheets for members to display on their vehicles. If you would like one for your vehicle/s, please contact me.
