Monthly Brunch Run – Captain Cook Botany Bay Park

FreeThis month we travel to Kurnell to Botany Bay National Park for a picnic at the Commemoration Flat picnic area.
On arrival, we visit Kurnell Visitor Centre, which features an art gallery, theatrette, historical exhibition, shop and café.. You can enjoy a coffee before discovering more about the significance of the area. Be sure to view the film Kamay Botany Bay before you leave.

After lunch, we can do the coastal Burrawang Walk which has several historic sites and sculptures.
Meet /Start: Kitchener Park car park Mona Vale (southern end). Meet from 9.45 am. We depart 10.am sharp. Route via Wakehurst Parkway to Frenchs Forest, through to Cammeray (additional pickup Alpha Rd Willoughby) and onto the Warringah Freeway, Eastern Distributor, Southern Cross Drive, The Grand Parade (Brighton), Ramsgate Rd, Rocky Point Rd, Taren Point Rd then Captain Cook Drive to destination.
Departure: 10.00am
